  1. An awesome choice if she can hold her own in the debates.

The buzz created over this pick is HUGE.

  2. very smart

    korkie

  3. Great choice as seen on many of these Q- she has real executive experience as well as she is real change not just words!

  4. I'm obama supporter but here's my thought.

but i thought i would give my opinion.

i think it wasn't a very good choice.

    because...

    Mccain is pretty old.

    72 years.

but you know he has experience.

    great for him, right.

But God forbidden anything happen to him

    Sarah would be president.

    And who has more experience?

    between Bien and Palin.

    Bien.

I think he could thought this out a little more.

  5. Very good choice.  I am a conservative woman who loves this pick.   BTW, my vote counts as much as those women who are offended by this pick, get a life!

  6. I don't know what to think. She seems like a strong woman I could respect and support. I simply don't know enough about her. Our party spent thousands of dollars criticizing Obama for a lack of experience and now this. We NEED to be consistent or we lose valuable credibility.

So much of which we have lost recently. I don't know what I will do.

She seems like someone you could bring home to Mom and Dad. A really good person though.

  7. Palin was excellent choice. She has energized the McCain campaign and brings some strong accomplishments to the board. She is also the only candidate who not a Washington insider. She is the only candidate with executive experience. She is the only candidate who can truly connect with blue collar workers. She has a record of creating a surplus in her states budget and actually gave money back to the people. She has courageously confronted political corruption on both sides of the isle and done so successfully.

All in all, she was an unexpected and surprisingly strong pick for McCain.

    Advantage McCain.

  8. Anyone who supports teaching creationalism in public schools is a moron and is pandering to the religious right. Very, very bad choice.

  9. I don't support McCain, but I am anti-Obama.  I find that Palin was a bad choice. I really cannot embrace a politician who has an anti-science agenda.

I find it hypocritical of the McCain group attacking Obama's inexperience and nominating Palin as his VP.  There are clearly more experienced Republicans out there than Palin.

  10. At first I thought it was kind of weird and sort of on the weak side, but the more I read and the more I watch the news and do my research, I think it's a wonderful pick.  Rasmussen poll has her overall US voter approval rating at 58% next to Biden's 43%.  McCain succeeding in getting attention completely away from Obama.  Everybody seems to have totally forgotten that Obama gave a speech day before yesterday.

  11. Thought that she was a good choice at first, but then I have read some stuff about her and it concerns me that she concievable could be president.

She does not believe global warming is being encouraged by human activity - we cannot afford to slip backward in time!

She does not want polar bears to be put on the endangered wildlife list.

She is against abortion even in the case of rape and incest. I am pro-life, but within reason.

And finally I was really happy when she spoke about her opposition to the bridge to no-where, but then read in the Alaskan newspaper that she was actually for it. I became a republican for integrity sake.

While I cannot vote for Obama, I think that Ron Paul or Barr are the only ones holding up the Republican ideals. Barr has my vote.

  12. She wasn't good or bad choice, she was a stupid choice

  13. I honestly believe Senator McCain knows little to nothing about his VP choice. For HIM its a good pick and here is why: there are many undecided Hillary supportors that are crucial for both canidates to win, so what does McCain do? He picks a young woman as his running mate to lure the Clintion supporters. It was a dirty, desperate and selfish move on McCains behalf.

Palin has NO Washington experience and NO foreign policy experience at a time when foreign policy has to do with the 2 major issues in our country-War and energy. So to answer the question...good pick for him? Absolutely. Good pick for our country? Not a chance.

Palin as a VP pick is just a plot to win over politically uneducated voters who were Hillary supporters. They now see a woman as part of the ticket and will automatically vote for McCain. That is the truth and it is quite obvious.

  14. Very bad choice. She is going to get creamed at debates against Obama's VP choice (especially about issues such as foreign policy).
