In a shortened clash at the Army Ground in Panagoda, the Saracens Sports Club secured a massive 111-run victory over the Kurunegala Youth Cricket Club, in their Group A match during the ongoing Premier Limited Over Tournament on December 30.
The Saracens SC kicked the match off by choosing to bat first after winning the toss. The team then went on to put forth a concentrated performance, which saw them working their way up to a steady final total of 251 in the allotted 43 overs, despite the
assaults of Prasad Kellepotha (9-0-33-2), Narada Ratnayake (8-1-51-1), and Anura Nidarshana (9-1-45-1).
