Is she styled as "Her Grace The Duchess of York", since she's no longer a Royal Highness?

Much appreciated.

  1. Yes, she's "Her Grace,Sarah, Duchess of York" unless some miracle occurred and she retrieved the HRH status. The divorce stripped her of her royal stylings so she is no longer a royal princess/duchess.

  2. Since her divorce she is Sarah, Duchess of York

Following her divorce in 1996, she became known as Sarah, Duchess of York (the proper address for the divorced wives of peers). She also lost the style HRH as well as any other dignities related to that title. Contrary to popular belief Sarah, Duchess of York is not The Duchess of York for that is the title reserved for the wife of the Duke of York. Sarah retains the style but not the title of Duchess of York. This is to emphasize her changed status from wife to former wife of the Duke of York.
