Yes. McCain has just destroyed his own campaign.  This week at the RNC he was suppose to show Sarah Palin career record off. There were already press releases by the RNC stating how Palin has more executive experience than any of the three candidates.  She was suppose to shore up the right conservative christian base.  Sarah Palin was against s*x education in schools, and even tried to get Creationism in the classroom.Now the discussion is about her 17 year unwed daughter's baby.

The conservation christian base isn't as forgiving as Democrats.  We have seen many republicans caught in sexual scandals having to resign from office.  I would expect Sarah Palin to resign from the nomination of VP to focus on family issues by the weeks end.

I don't think so; I think the Obama people will try to make an issue of it as we can see here on answers, but it will backfire on them.  My daughter got pregnant very young and it worked out well for them so, I really have no issue with it myself.  Teenagers have s*x whether their parents know it or not and the best thing a mother can do is to be supportive of her daughter and grandchild and not be judgmental.

So sorry for bringing this up Luke, but it has a lot to do with her mom's position on certain issues.  Like for instance advocating abstinence only, against any real s*x education that teaches about protecting yourself (condoms, birth control pills).  She is the one who stuck her foot in her mouth, and it is something to take notice of.  Remember all those "immoral" (her words, not mine) teens that were having s*x before marriage, and are or were pregnant?  Now it seems a member of her own family has joined those ranks.  "Judge not...lest ye be judged".  (Matt 7:1)  "Let he who is without sin, cast the first stone". (John 8:7)

See, Conservatives are not the only one who believe in or read the bible.  Some of us just believe everyone has a free will.

This is what I don't understand about American elections. Eveyone acts like it's a big popularity contest... "I don't like him cause he's black, or I don't like her 'cause her daughter's having a b*****d child"... WHO CARES? What about the facts? Who is gonna make a good president/vice president? Do their policies agree with mine? These are the questions that matter. Gossip and baby-mama drama might be OK for Paris Hilton's career, but this is the White House we're talking about here. Jeez.
