I think what this does is make the question of s*x education in our public schools more relevant than it otherwise might have been this election cycle.

It is possible that Gov. Palin still supports abstinence only education, but it clearly does not work if the stated goal is to reduce teen pregnancy.

I don't think Palin's daughter should be attacked, or that this is somehow good news for Obama; I would argue that a 17 year old being pregnant is rarely, if ever, good news.

But, I do think it really raises the importance of s*x education and I think it weakens the GOP attack that only they support family values when the daughter of their VP had s*x out of wedlock.

Now surely people will point out that many people have s*x out of wedlock, why pick on Palin's daughter. She is worthy of discussion because the GOP claims moral superiority; the DNC does not.

No, they've overdosed on the Kool-Aid and will find this a wonderful positive. See how great it is when the only birth control you teach your children about is abstinence and yet those little scamps go out and make babies anyway? That's just the most precious thing in the world, yes it is!

People I know that are voting for her and McCain still are.  We are real American families.  Is there anyone out there that this hasn't happened to a very close friend or member of your extended family?  It is hard to be a teen mother, but LOVE is the answer and it will carry her through.
