Sarah Palin's Wikipedia page was changed?

I just heard this on NPR, and thought I'd share---- apparently Sarah Palin's wikipedia page was changed yesterday morning before the announcement that she would be McCain's running mate..... her less "presidenty" moments on the page (like being in a beauty pageant) were diminished, and glowing quotes were added (she's a politician with "eye-popping integrity.")

I especially found this interesting, because her page was changed by someone who knew lots about her family (they go moose-hunting at three a.m.) and their account name was YoungTrig.....which happens to be her son's name.

I was there this morning and if it's changed, it's been since then and after the formal announcement was made.  Sorry to break the bad news.

Just like Joe Bidens page was changed. They moved his quotes about encouraging John Kerry to choose John Mccain as a VP as opposed to himself. That my friend is about a million times worse then what you propose.

It should come as no real surprise.

I looked at the Trinity web site (Obama's former church) before they changed it... it was highly anti-white and anti-American, which is why I believe Rev. Wright meant every word he said in exactly the way he said it. It's also why there's no doubt in my mind that Obama is a racist and anti-American; he couldn't have spent 20 years in those pews otherwise.

Trinity cleaned it up to give it a less inflammatory image, but it was too late... the American press got wind of it and blew their cover.

Yeah, perhaps, but this woman will have to do some back flips Perhaps she can ask Nazia Lucien for advice, to add to being in a beauty pageant, jeez, we don't need another used to be or wanna be now actor/actress.  We got enough from Swarzenegger,Reagan...come on people,wake-up.  Do you Republicans who have families that are struggling want to still be behind a government that is still behind Bush over 90% of the time.  Even you or someone close to you/friend/family or even foe is having trouble being free in our nation where the word free to me originated. (well, except for the Bible which states we all should and it's our birthright to be free) .   Free meaning you can driv to where you need to go, eat at least once a month out, go to the movies, be able to get in your car if ther is an emergency at your kids school and you need to get there or for any emergency, free to just be who you are, instead, some have to rely on the government and then you are contolled by them; the 666 # is being tatooed on the many who rely on welfare.  They want everything but your DNA to get $24,000 a year for a family of four and that is poor because $40k is now considered poor!  WE NEED OUR FREEDOM BACK AND ALL McCain will do is reanact the draft, keep fighting a war that the Iraqi's want and need to begin fighting on their own, leave us unprotected, shall I go on.  Do you still want your freedom or your kids freedom to  be gone and take a chance that you may not ever see them again because McCain could give a hoot about who has to fight, he's too d**n old.  I could talk about this forever.  And for those who don't believe a black man can run our country because of prejudice (which may not be your fault if you were raised that way), please open your heart.  I believe there is good in us all somwhere, but there is so much hate hidden, buried because perhaps a black person hurt you or said something to you - I urge you to forgive.  I understand.  I was called and in big handwritten letters on our apartment wall the words halfbreed were written!  So, there's prejudice against mixed race folks too.  Forgive, that's all I could do.   Even still, I urge you to open your hearts because I dont believe even your families can take another 4 years of this c**p of a government that doesn't even care if your kids get molested or are uneducated or can't eat.  I plead to people who have been infultrated with hate to please, put your hate aside and for once, look within your heart.  I'm not downing you, those whod rather vote for McCain because he's white, vote because you know what Barack will do with our help CAN AND WILL do.  We need you to pull us through.  We need some new ideas, new aura, spirit and souls watching over us.  I'd rather get Barack on the phone at 3am than McCain. He'd (McCain) would probably have his hand tied to the red button.  The man scares me!

Well...I for one would like to congratulate the Republicans for being so mature about this.

There have been a lot of lukewarm but supportive remarks regarding her, but none of outright hate that we have come to expect.

Frankly if MY candidate had squandered his VP choice to gain support from the opposition I would be livid.

Not only has McCain chosen a VP to suit the Democrats...but he picked one that will not even be effective. At the same time he has torpedoed his national security stance, and poked holes in the "experience" boat.

For a candidate with one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel, he has not left us with much to work with when he's gone.

But...the important thing, I think anyway, is the way that the Republicans are taking this all in stride and trying to be supportive, albeit with clenched teeth.

I think we should congratulate them all, and say "it was a tough fight, and you are great sports for accepting defeat so gracefully".
