Sarah Palin Pro Choice?

I have a question. After you read this statement.

"We’re proud of Bristol’s decision to have her baby and even prouder to become grandparents."

How can you preach to be pro-life and want to have a constitutional ammendment so you cant have an abortion, when you state you are proud your daughter chose to keep the baby. To me that means her daughter had a choice.

Doesnt that mean that Sarah Palin is PRO CHOICE? Its clear her daughter had a choice. So is Sarah Palin Pro Choice or Pro Life?

  1. she's pro life.

  2. Sounds that way, doesn't it. A true pro-life person does not have a choice. They would not even consider any other choice BUT to give birth. Their  heart and values would not let them.

  3. For her there is only one "choice" and that's "pro life".

    She isn't pro choice.

  4. I noticed that as well when she was speaking. Mrs. Palin is very seriously Pro-Life in every aspect.

However her daughter is of legal age by Alaska law, so she made her own choice, which may be what she is speaking to.

  5. Great twist on the wording of her statement.

Can you interpret the Bible for us too?

  6. Pro-choice means that you have the option to kill the baby. Pro-life means you work with all the other options except to kill the baby.

Again Sara's baby is 4 months old

    Bristol is 5 months pregnent

For all the liberals who flunked out of math, and still want to spread the slezy gossip that Trig is Bristol's baby. Think a little.

  7. Her daughter had a choice because abortions are legal or she could also have given the baby up for adoption.  17 year old daughters often make decisions contrary to their mothers' wishes.

  8. I think her choice was keep the baby or put it up for adoption.

  9. Maybe her daughter had a choice but Sarah Palin would like to end the right to choose for every woman in America, even if she is raped, a victim of incest or the baby is totally ******* up and can' t live anyway.

  10. Bristol is 17.  If she wanted to have an abortion she could legally-  She didn't

  11. Does that mean for you, if she votes for taking a baby's life because you are Pro Choice, or Pro Life to save that baby's life you will vote to agree or disagree with her?  We need to support whatever it takes in the United States to built and offer our young people a good future. To distroy a life because of bad judgement is no reason for support of PRO Choice, when a mother who has no Choice to raise a young man/woman then to lose them in a war in another country that's meaningless.

  12. Actually, while Palin is pro-choice, she is also an advocate of STATE RIGHTS.  McCain wants Roe vs Wade returned to the states.

    "Overturning Roe v. Wade

John McCain believes Roe v. Wade is a flawed decision that must be overturned, and as president he will nominate judges who understand that courts should not be in the business of legislating from the bench.

Constitutional balance would be restored by the reversal of Roe v. Wade, returning the abortion question to the individual states. The difficult issue of abortion should not be decided by judicial fiat.

However, the reversal of Roe v. Wade represents only one step in the long path toward ending abortion. Once the question is returned to the states, the fight for life will be one of courage and compassion - the courage of a pregnant mother to bring her child into the world and the compassion of civil society to meet her needs and those of her newborn baby. The pro-life movement has done tremendous work in building and reinforcing the infrastructure of civil society by strengthening faith-based, community, and neighborhood organizations that provide critical services to pregnant mothers in need. This work must continue and government must find new ways to empower and strengthen these armies of compassion. These important groups can help build the consensus necessary to end abortion at the state level. As John McCain has publicly noted, "At its core, abortion is a human tragedy. To effect meaningful change, we must engage the debate at a human level.""

Where is this "constitutional ammendment so you cant have an abortion" in McCain's plan?  I don't see it.  At the Saddleback forum he only said that he hoped states would make the right choice.

  13. I don't begrudge anyone their right to be pro-choice or pro-life.  The problem comes about when you start making judgements against others opinions.

  14. Since democrats are spamming this section with cheap shots on Palin's daughter, I am now going to use their questions to rack up points. Even sadder, the same people are asking the same questions over and over again. The questions they are asking have already been answered repeatedly.

    2 POINTS, THANK YOU

  15. I am sorry but please read what you submitted and I hope you will find it as stupid as I do. Pro-choice means that you believe that a woman has the CHOICE to END the LIFE of her BABY.

Pro-life means you ALLOW the HUMAN BEING to LIVE!

Ask OBAMA this question...When did his childrens life begin...at conception at at birth.

Obama is WRONG...Palin has a heart.

  16. Not sure.  But did hear that she was against s*x education.

  17. She could have given it up for adoption.

  18. Even if her daughter was raped, should would still be a pro-life right wing nutjob.

She isn't pro-choice on anything. She believes that if you aren't a staunch Conservative then you are on the straight tract to h**l.

  19. No.  She forced the kid to have the first baby too, and then stole it.

Whether her daughter is pro choice is a good question.

  20. No.  Sarah Palin is Pro-life.

This is demonstrated by her choice to deliver her 5th child who was diagnosed with Down Syndrome before the child was born.

In contrast, BO advocated life birth abortion while he sat on the Illinois State Senate for Downs babies...

  21. What I want to know, is if she's going to marry the father, why hasn't she already?  She's already 5 months along.

  22. No, that means she is pro life.  They are not proud of the choice she made (TO HAVE s*x) but are proud to have a grandchild, and that she decided to tell her parents and not get too scared and have an abortion.

  23. Obviously, no one's perfect. What speaks most loudly about a person's character is not whether or not they ever make mistakes, but rather how they handle those mistakes! The easiest thing in the world for Bristol and the Palin family to have done would've been to abort (kill) her unborn child. I'm sure they knew there would be some ignorant people (like many on this site) who would attack and insult her once the news broke of her pregnancy. They didn't take the easy way out, however. Bristol is taking responsibility for her actions and not punishing an innocent baby for her own mistake. Just like her mother and father's decision to allow baby Trig to be born, even if it might have been more convenient not to do so considering his Downs Syndrome, this speaks very strongly about the type of people the Palin family are. They are not Pro-Life in name only, but live out the conviction that every life is precious and a potential blessing. No one who is considering aborting a child who is special needs or is an unplanned pregnancy can ever say to Gov. Palin "You've never been in this situation...you don't know what its like."

My respect and admiration for Gov. Palin and her family has increased many times over---and I mean that with all my heart! I wish I could tell her that! I heart the Palins!!!

BTW:  Of course her daughter had a choice.  She could've had an abortion w/out her parents' knowledge.

(You know that Obama supports abortions on underage girls without the parents' knowledge or approval, don't you?)
