(Sarah Palin) What was McCain Thinking about?

...or was he thinking at all!

Nine times, in the American history a Vice-President, became President after this one was assassinated, resigned or died.

McCain is 72 and battled cancer, the most deadly one may I add. This is serious stuff. The chances of him dying during his mandate are high.

  1. Her b***s probably.

    He likes the Beauty Queens.

His first wife was a model.

He cheated on her with Cindy after a car accident left her disfigured.

  2. I think she would be eminently capable of running America in case McCain died suddenly.

After eight years of Bush did you not realise that even a simpleton would have done a better job?

  3. he was putting his country first, ahead of his ambitions.

  4. I am sure he was making his own decision, unlike his counter part Obama who was forced to choose his running mate.

  5. She might have been a decent choice if it weren't for one thing. McCain has repeatedly criticized Obama for his lack of foreign policy experience. McCain has also made his entire campaign about his own supposed foreign policy expertise, which he really doesn't have. Now, he just picked someone for backup president that has zero foreign policy experience. Those people who say that the Vice-President doesn't matter should take a look at the 11th Amendment.

  6. He wasn't thinking at all.  The brain cells are gone.  Stupid choice.

  7. And your point is what? Here is something to mull over. If Jimmy Carter and George Bush were able to run America, Sarah Palin can run America.

No one who takes the office of President of the United States has experience in the job until they run for a 2nd term.

As Bill Clinton recently said: "Give me a break."

McCain and Palin represent actual change for America. Change that the American people are demanding. Obama showed us his opinion of change when he chose a guy who was in the Senate during the Vietnam war? That ain't change. That's more of the same old c**p.

  8. At least he is happy. What can we say?

  9. Well, pretty obviously he was thinking he could shake the race up with a surprise pick and maybe gain some undecided women voters. I mean, it's all very well to say Palin is not ready to be VP let alone president, because she surely isn't ready to be either. But McCain first has to win the election or else Palin's fitness for VP never becomes an issue, does it? Obama wasn't ready to be president six months ago, either; no one ever is on their first day of campaigning. Everybody has to start somewhere.

I suspect he was also thinking he could knock the Democrats back on their heels for a day or so, maybe throw a little scare into them. Judging from the way many Dems have responded to the choice, how surprised they are by it and how they clearly didn't have talking points prepared, it appears he succeeded.

  10. Uncle Tonto, I think you are exactly right. Last night, I watched a debate about her between a Republican strategist and James Carville. Normally, Carville has a mouth that won't stop. However, the Republican mopped the floor with him as she was obviously very prepared with Republican talking points. Carville had a look on him saying, "Seriously now, who is the real VP choice?" He was completely stunned.

Of course, he and other Democrats are probably gigling today about how stupid and desperate McCain's choice was.

  11. OOoohh, I would Love to pour my heart into this one but I get too upset. All I can think of is, If McCain kicks, Palin will be calling the shots in Europe and we'll all be talking like Irani's or some such. Please, please talk sense into your friends, neighbors, relatives, church fellows and work mates.
