  1. The Polls say yes

    Obama 50%, McCain 42%

    Obama 48%, McCain 40%

    Obama got the Palin bump.

    Worst than Mondale/Ferraro,  McCain/Palin

  2. Why don't we wait and see what she has to say. Her daughter is a non issue to these elections as far as I am concerned, I am more interested in her politics and what she has in mind for this country.

  3. I'm starting to like her. Still keeping an open mind and looking forward to her acceptance speech.

  4. Has a very positive effect upon me.  I'm a voter.

  5. Positive, because she is strongly pro-life, opposes same-s*x "marriage," and is noted for her energy policies promoting independence from big oil companies.

  6. I think McCain shot himself in the foot. She is unknown...and would she be able to be president if anything happened to McCain.

Very poor judgment on the part of McCain.

  7. negative

  8. Negative. And getting worse.

  9. i am pro Obama/Biden 08.

mcsane is in his old age; palin has issues. they have a negative campaign this election.

  10. I don't think it'll matter in terms of her just being her, just being a woman on the ticket.  I think that's what the Republicans wanted, only it turns out the devil was in the details.  She has a lot of specific problems-her daughter, corruption allegations, the fact she might be under indictment.  They did an awful job checking her out, and that probably shows it was a desperate, rush job.  Very poorly executed.  She'll be a negative.

  11. POSITIVE....I LIKE SARAH PALIN SHE WOULD BE A GOOD VP AND THE DEMOCRAT MARXIST PARTY KNOWS' THIS...WHY DO YOU THINK THEY DO NOT WANT HER IN....DEMOCRAT MARXIST PARTY KNOWS SARAH FIGHTS CRIME AGAINST WOMEN, AND THE CITIZENS....OBAMA IS FOR ALLOWING  ABUSIVE HUSBANDS AND BOYFRIENDS NOT TO SPEAND TIME IN PRISON AGAINST WOMEN, HE REFUSED TO SIGN THE BILL TO PROTECT WOMEN...

  12. Extremely positive when it comes to this white as snow, middle aged male's vote.

  13. i believe it will have a negative effect

why well becasue if McCain died she will be president and she has 7 kids the oldest 17 and the smallest 6 months!!! and the baby has down-sydrome

the 15 is pregant . and how would she care for the kids as being vice-p

so if  people what her as presidnet as the role model to Everyone else

    I doubt it

  14. Negative. But people who are already loyal McCain supporters won't care at all. Actually they'd probably still vote for him even after they found out he murdered his mother...

  15. Positive, it's obvious.

They can't go after her on everything else so they have to attack her 17 year old daughter.  Talk about desperate.

  16. It already has had a negative effect. It will get worse once we learn more about the skeletons in Palin's closet.

  17. depends on how dumb they can be.  So far most republicans I heard have been so delusionally blissful and I feel sorry for them

  18. The Repubes are desperate!

    What a joke!!!

She sure is sexxy though!!  lol

  19. negative for me, McCain isnt a spring chicken and as a nurse I rarely see anyone his age under stress that doesnt have some confusion issues. I for one dont want a 44 year old totally inexperienced woman running my county.

  20. I'm an Independent voter. It won't make any difference to me because I do my research. The Republic party has put this country into debt the last 8 years. I want them fired. I will vote Democratic this year.  Sarah Palin has nothing to do with it. Wake up folks! You don't vote for people. You vote for their party machine. The Republicans have made a mess!

  21. Palin has energized the republican religious right  who were lukewarm about McCain and might have stayed home if McCain had picked someone like Romney. McCain cannot win without their support. THis is the main reason she was picked.

However, I don't see her getting McCain many independent votes and she will not help him with the Hillary fanatics. You will not hear her talking about Hillary like she did when she was introduced anymore.

Still she could tip the scale in toss up states like Virginia.

It is still going to be a very close race especialy for the electoral college votes.

  22. It will have a positive effect on evangelical Christian voters and a negative effect on women voters who like having rights.

  23. Positive for me. I was wishy washy about him (ie: not my first choice). Now, I'm full steam ahead for McCain.

  24. The effect on voters is to make the next two months entertaining as all get-out. This is positive.

And come November 4, voters will send McCain back to congress and Palin packing back to Anchorage.

    I don't see a downside for voters.

  25. I dont really care, all their politics are F@@@ed, I am ready for a change and you should be too, only people that will vote for them are rich *** folks who dont give a d**n about regular people

    Obama/Biden 08' it's time for a CHANGE

  26. After the Palin pick, I signed up to make phone calls for McCain at:

    https://secure.johnmccain.com/Secure/Tea...

    Does that tell you anything?

  27. Well I think in a few days we will know. I really like her.

  28. So far postiive. They brought in tons of money pretty much over night after she accepted VP.

  29. For me very positive....I am a moderate republican and she is refreshing...

  30. for the left it will be a negative (mccain's choice), for the right it will be a positive (well, duh, lol). Those in the "middle" (moderates and independents) are wondering if palin was sufficiently vetted and whether it was/will turn out to be, a wise decision. Personally, i tend to question mccain's judgment. Perhaps he chose her to deflect attention away from the bigger issues of the war, the economy and the environment, in which case, i'm thinking his choice was a huge mistake.

  31. Positive!  Not only will Americans see that she is a breath of fresh air, they will see that she is the #1 Governor in the NATION for a very good reason.  She gets things done and doesn't mind ruffling a few feathers to do it.

xkiss_the - Your answer was so funny, I just have to respond.  lol  To say McCain is too old to be President is ignoring the many that came before him that were just as old or older and did the job admirably. That negates your first reason. Palin's age is similar to Obama's but her executive experience blows him out of the water.  That negates your age and experience excuse. Last, but not least, I know it was just a typo but it sounded funny.  I don't think Palin wants to run your "county."  lol
