Every time I think about that statement she said I start laughing so hard.  Even if you're like the average American and don't know what the VP does, it's still really stupid to say that on public TV when there's a chance you'll get elected for it.  I hope he either doesn't die, or he doesn't win.  Mostly going to hope he doesn't win.  Lol, I agree with you on the thumbs downs.  I must get twenty of those a day.  But it's ok, because I thumbs down all of the repubs while I'm at it.

People, just because you are voting for one candidate, you do not have to say something bad about the other candidate and his running mate. If you are saying that some one doesn't qualified for a job, or even if that person said so, it doesn't really mean anything until that person took the job. And better yet, if you think one candidate doesn't qualified, what make you think the one you are voting for qualified?

I'm getting a little bit irritated by this recurring comment, "Sarah Palin doesn't know what the VP does, so what, does anyone know?" Well, quite honestly no, most average Americans don't know what the VP does. Surely we can all agree though, that a VP candidate should know what the VP does. Hurry, someone please explain to this women the job description before she opens her mouth again. I mean really, if you were interviewing someone for a job as a nurse and the person said, "I don't even know what a nurse does." I think most average Americans DO know that individual is not qualified.

Not only did she have to ask what the duties of the VP are on a daily basis, she was only interviewed 1 time before he called her on his cell phone and offered her the job. Most regular jobs call candidates back for a second interview. At least Obama and Biden worked together in committee.

Do you or I know exactly what the Vice-President really does either?  I know I don't really.  But, in defense of the Governor, she got more experience in being the mayor of a small town of 9,000 people than Obama has had in his life.  He has never ran a business nor a government so, I'd say Governor Palin has him beat there.

Why  would she.. she is a Governor.  She was merely stating that at that time she was not exactly sure what the job of VP entailed.  

Just the same as you would if you were hired for a job.  If asked, could you give detail by detail what the VP does... or even your own boss.. Of course not.

So why does being governor all of the sudden qualify you for national office? Did you know that only 16 of our past presidents were governors before the presidency? Did you know that before her one and a half year stint as governor Sarah Palin was mayor of a city with population 9,000. Those are her credentials, that's it.
