Sarah Palin has only been on the scene since Friday and already has all this controversies, why?

shes under investigation for firing 2 people, they say shes inexperienced and never been out of Alaska, that her last baby is not hers its her daughters, Now her daughter is 5 months Pregnant, and the father is her father. she has 5 kids. we haven't even got to know her yet.

Because she's a real threat to the Obama campaign.  They are trying their hardest to find any hint of a scandal because she's a real threat.  Have you ever looked at the headlines about the two candidate?  Take a look sometime.  The Media wants to get Obama elected.  Compare them

Obama's Great, Johns Old.  It has nothing to do with her, some are totally fabricated-  For instance, the baby thing.  How could her daughter get pregnant if she was already 8 months pregnant?  She (the daughter) is 5 mos pregnant and Trig's 4 mos old.  Because she's real and they have to find or make some reason that you shouldn't vote for her.

My family has been following her for about a year.  She's been a hero to us for that long.  We never even considered the possibility that she might be VP.  We just liked her.  Now that she is, We're ecstatic.  I really am dumbfounded by everyone's belief that this will backfire.  Every republican I know is on fire for the first time in the campaign.  We never really liked Mccain- it's just that Obama was 1000 times worse. We actually like Palin.  I don't know where you're getting your info from but remember- If you want to learn about a Catholic, don't ask a Baptist.

McCain made a risky choice in choosing her and it has backfired.  When she gave her acceptance speech on Friday, she was already label a flip-flopper.  She stated that she rejected the Bridge to Nowhere, when in fact she initially supported it.  She also stated she we leading reforms in Alaska due to corruption of past republican politicians.

When Alaska received 200 million and wasn't going to get additional federal funding, the bridge became a bad idea.  She didn't return the money, but used it to repair an airport.  This is called misuse of federal funds and is a crime.  Within one day she lied, and contradicted her reforms policy.

I really can not for see her being on the lower ticket for long.  I would expect her to resign from nomination to 'put more focus on her family issues.'

Part of the controversy is that she has no experience. She has not been vetted and is the VP of a man in advancing years when all the problems of old age begin to show at around 70 or 80.  She is in no way shape or form ready to lead and handle the complex and complicated political landscape.  

Given all the very qualified  Republican women, if McCain wanted to pick a woman, this is not a choice that bodes well for the Country.  She shows so far, neither experience or judgment only a strong sense of activism in a small state population wise.  She is strongly tied to all the same Bush policies.  She is anti science at a time when we are falling behind other nations in the sciences.  She is pro creationism, does not have much respect for global warming, she is anti choice.   She is no Hillary Clinton.

She is not our best and brightest only one of our most narrow minded.

That does not bode well for the Country.  Shame on McCain.

First of all, the Democrats are mad Senator McCain stole the Democrats thunder.

The father of Governor Palin's daughter's baby is her daughters boyfriend, not her father.  That was sick.

The one trooper in question was Governor Palin's ex-brother-in-law.  He had been caught driving under the influence in his squad car, and an incident that involved the tasering of his own 11 y/o son.  The public safety commissioner refused to fire him, and Governor Palin was within her rights to fire the PSC.  It is a political vendetta by the fired PSC, and if the firing of the trooper can be jusitfied, so can the firing of the PSC.

Let's have all of the scandal now.  That leaves a lot of time to focus on the ones of Senators Obama and Biden.
