Question:

Sarah Palin must be ~very~ confused?

Sarah Palin says she doesn't believe in Global Warming. But last September, she signed an executive order establishing a "climate change subcabinet" to prepare a climate change "strategy" for Alaska. One of the first jobs of the subcabinet -- figuring out a priority list for state aid.

She denies but prepares for climate change??? She is a perfect match for flip-flopping John McCain.

  1.   Strictly your biased opinion.  Mine is that there are so many diverse sources and scientific inquiries that "flip-flop" almost every week, how should ANY politician commit to one ?  If THEY don't have the scientific majority, how or why should a Governor commit expensive and costly State resources, if it IS true or if it is NOT true.   Nice try on the flip-flop angle though.....................

  2. I'd like to see that executive order. Do you have a link?

  3. I agree

  4. or, the perfect match for flip flopping Obama. one is as bad as the other.

  5. Please try to get a clue before the election. Good god. Stop wasting your life reading lefty blogs for your own sake.

Would you rather have a president/VP who refuses to study things they don't believe to be true?

  6. It is called prudence.  Just because you are not completely sold on something, doesn't mean that you can't prepare for it, or see what you can do about it.

It's a good move that I would think you would agree with, and yet you criticize it?

  7. She said that she doesn't believe gloabl warming is entirely caused by people.

She didn't say she didn't believe globalwarming was a fact.

Are you lieing or you just can't read

  8. Signing an order and believing in global warming are not the same to her. She knows the ice is melting, but refuses to acknowledge why. Just like the people who think the world is still flat.

  9. She seems pretty crazy. Let us thank John McCain for the gift he has given us.

  10. Lots of places to find her record and her quotes about global warming.  One below. Check section "Sarah Palin on the Environment"

  11. I find it strange that Mccain chose her after meeting her only once.  or did he choose her because she is the hottest governor in the nation?

  12. wow that's the best the Republicans can do? That's sad. But whatever...OBAMA/BIDEN!!!!

  13. I saw a clip of her not knowing what a vice president does on the Colbert Report.

Apparently she did sign an executive order.

  14. Link of her saying she doesn't believe in climate change?

  15. Global Warming and Climate Change are two different things... two differemt concepts.

Global Warming is the suggestion that man is causing the changes in temperature due to emissions, greenhouse gasses, etc.

Climate Change is not the same thing. If the world is in a continuing cycle of warming and cooling (which it is) then the climate is changing apart from what man is doing.

I agree with her, what is going on, slight as it is (+.01 degree worldwide over the last 100 years), is climate change, not global warming for the greater part.

But at the same time, we are completely responsible to care for the Earth as best we can.

  16. Like all liberal green eco-nuts, you are spinning the issue.

Climate change is not in dispute! Our planet has had vast changes in average temperatures documented in its history. The CAUSE is disputed. Natural cycle or man made?

Nothing wrong with being prudent and exploring ways to treat the symptom regardless of the cause.
