They're SUSPECTS. That means they're not GUILTY until proven so. They are human beings just like everyone else and deserve to have rights until there is substantial evidence proving otherwise.

No, they are not American citizens nor or they guaranteed the rights of being given these rights.  If you had one right in your face, would you s?ay "wait, don't shoot me, let me read you your rights first.  Get real!
