  1. Can you say "evangelical"?

  2. one word! republican!!

  3. Cite your source please. Otherwise, you question does not have any substance.

  4. Do you have any proof of this statements? If so please show us the links.

A question like this was on just a little while ago, and they showed no links either.

Anyone can make a claim about anything in the world but without some form of proof, their claims are not in fact, but only rumor.

  5. Earlier this evening my husband and I saw this librarian, Ellen Baker, being interviewed on tv. This came straight from her. She said everything just like you said it, except for the voters thinking the books had inappropriate language part; but the rest of it my husband and I both heard her say. The way the librarian told it in this particular interview, it was just what palin wanted, not the voters. We couldn't believe the way she threatened to fire her. This palin woman is a little on the nutty side if you ask me.

  6. Sarah Palin's thoughts &/or beliefs is an irrelevant matter.

There is no way on our blue and green Earth that John McCain will win the Presidency.

Sorry, not this time you money-grubbing oil tycoons.  The Real America is voting this time around.

  7. I will respond to your exaggerated comments with your own Liberal biased links.  One of the responders at this link, http://www.librarian.net/stax/2366/sarah... said the following:

"I don’t know, I kinda like seeing libraries mentioned this way too …not so much for what it meant to the Wasilla Public Library, but what it tells the rest of us about a potential future … as an HR-ish friend of mine always said — 'past behavior is usually a pretty good predictor of future behavior.' Cheers."

If past behavior is usually a pretty good predictor of future behavior, then Barack Obama should be the last man on earth you should want to be president.  He admitted to doing cocaine, he has ties to terrorists and racists, he has performed shady land deals, and he threatened to close down a radio station if it exercised its right to freedom of speech.

Time Magazine & CNN are extreme leftist sources that only tell one side of a story in order to manipulate the minds of people and spread lies in order to get what they want.  When I read Time magazine I take it "with a grain of salt'"

Sarah Palin is THE BEST, MOST QUALIFIED, MOST HONEST, and TOUGHEST candidate out of the four.

    McCain and Palin 2008!!!

  8. The idea of someone wanting to ban books and wanting to be Vice President is disturbing because the best leaders we had were readers and writers.

Right wing zealots who are non thinking are at the forefront of book baning because anyone who actually thought about it would not want a book banned for any reason.

  9. Looking a little desperate there, do you see Obamas ship sinking right before your eyes, keep trying you are wasting your time.

  10. As soon as she took office, she demanded that the librarian, public works commissioner, police chief, and just about every other head of office in Wasilla resign because she felt they weren't "loyal" to her administration and didn't share her political views. She was taken to court for firing them when they refused to resign.

When the librarian refused to resign, Palin flat out asked her if she "could live with censorship of library books".

Does that sound like a democracy or more like a fascist dictatorship?

  11. shes just a politician

  12. Ever read Fahrenheit 451? I think she fears certain books will cause more problems if not doubts against her.

  13. She is clueless. I'm not a fan of Obama, but Palin is the pits.

She is not a racist just a dim wit.

You would think they could come up with someone with experience after talking smack about Obama's experience.

  14. I've never heard that before.

  15. I have not hear her say that, so I can only give an answer that is an educated guess.  I am sure she wishes to have inappropriate literature removed from places it should not be.  Now if inappropriate literature is against her religious beliefs, then that might be what you are referring to.  As to whether or not it makes her a bigot, I do not think so.  Since when does standing up for what you believe in make you a bigot.  Is Obama a bigot because he does not agree with McCain.  Is McCain a bigot because he does not agree with Obama.

  16. Yes. If only she'd apply more attention to her children, perhaps her daughter wouldn't be knocked up.

  17. Yes. What other word could one use to describe someone who wants to ban books?

  18. uh doi...she's a republican.

    republicans are conservative.

conservatives don't believe in freedom of religion.

sarah Palin doesn't believe in freedom of religion

that's why we shouldn't vote for her

she'll just bring the US back to the 16th century

    ;p lol

*I mean the whole idea of creationism as a 'valid scientific theory' is just plain stupid. I have no idea why they're still pushing them in schools -crazy republicans- lol

  19. She can want to all she wants but there are steps that she must go through to get this done. I'm sure someone who isn't as ignoratnt will trip her up on her way down that road.

  20. If we would have banned certain books in this country we wouldn't have some of the problems we have today.

Barack Obama wants to ban paychecks.

  21. Where do you get this c**p?

  22. censorship

  23. What are her religious beliefs?

  24. maybe shes a fascist? but if she must ban books lets hope she starts with books chock full of s*x & violence, you know, like the bible.

  25. Its not uncommon among Right wing religious extremists.  She also wants to teach creationism in public schools.

"[John] Stein says that as mayor, Palin continued to inject religious beliefs into her policy at times. "She asked the library how she could go about banning books," he says, because some voters thought they had inappropriate language in them. "The librarian was aghast." That woman, Mary Ellen Baker, couldn't be reached for comment, but news reports from the time show that Palin had threatened to fire Baker for not giving "full support" to the mayor."

  26. I seem to remember some angry German fellows who didn't like books they didn't agree with either.

  27. because she's a far-right, fundamentalist, extremist.

  28. Yes, a bigot.

  29. Proof Please!

  30. You knew the Fourth Reich would eventually go there. Perhaps the kids will be learning "creation science" in public schools soon.

  31. I've got a terrific answer to your question.. your a F'ing liar and or just retarted. She is for free speech, unlike your libral douche friends/heroes who want to inplement the "fairness doctrine," which limits speech.
