actually that is what i thought as well, that as Hilary is now out of the picture, McCain can now pick up those women voters, cynical i would say.

It is nothing. The Governor has the power to police the state police.

Palin has made political enemies and they are going after her.

She was never vetted. She and her staff had no idea until days before that she was even in consideration. Honestly, McCain doesn't know how to use the internet. He probably wasn't able to do a google search on her...she looked good and Cindy is getting too old for him...

Seriously, I truly don't think there was much planning for this pick...obviously there are many more talented women republicans to choose from.
