Being a real mother, politician, realist. Think this will change your vote. I'm Alaskan Native so you know who'll I'll vote. But in the world of change think the drastic measures Obama has in mind really have family in consideration?

  1. Sarah Palin has absolutely no qualifications to be president, if something were to happen to John McCain then yes she would be president. She is being investigated for abusing power, supports hunting of endangered species in Alaska, wants creationism to be taught at our schools, believes victims of rape shouldn't be allowed abortions, has no foreign relations experience (contrary to what Fox News says being governor of a state that is next to Russia does not give you experience), and is a slap in the face to Hillary supporters everywhere. So yes, this will change my vote. Instead of McCain, I will be voting for Barrack Obama.

  2. when it is out that Johnny boy is madly in love with her it will be all over

  3. I don't know if she'll be able to put a SENSE of real families back in the mix...

but I'm starting to question her education reforms after reading your post.

  4. I think you mean a "sense" of family.

I don't want my family to be like hers.  I don't believe in covering for your children's mistakes, having siblings 19 years apart, or leaving your newborn  (child or grandchild is irrelevant.  My mother took a week off work when my healthy full term baby was born)in the NICU at a day old to continue your career.  I don't think she has her priorities straight.

  5. Mccain doesn't have american families in mind by picking someone who is no where near ready to take over if he dies.

  6. No, he is not a family centered, pro family candidate.  And thank you for bringing us such a wonderful lady, it was only made possible by your state who elected her into office.

  7. She's an amazing woman, a true pioneer. She is the reason why I switched party affiliations yesterday. She hunts, she works from the land, as do I... greenhouse, planting vegetables, herbs, canning, we're talking pure raw survival instincts, something every parent of my mothers generation have grown to honor and respect.

I don't think- I know she can put the heart of families back into focus. In the world of change, how can one not appreciate that? There are many facets of dimensional living that should be respected in the form of feminine influences- Mother Earth is speaking and it is time we go back to our real roots.

  8. No, I don't.  Or at least, I don't think she will accomplish what other politicians haven't.  I have a real hard time labeling any creationist as a 'realist.'

  9. No freaking Ivory tower politician can know anything about what its like to live down here at the "grass roots" level!

    This NOVEMBER

VOTE for the NOT a Democrat and  NOT a Republican

That is .. the NONE OF THE ABOVE box to check on your Ballot.

That's what to use when the "mainstream"  candidates are unacceptable!

  10. All of the candidates have families.  Having a family has very little to nothing to do with you being a politician.  Since we're on this subject, look how John McCain treated his first family.  He cheated on his wife Carol for 9 years after he was a POW for 5 years.  He pushed for the divorce and made the kids angry at him for leaving their mom for a much younger woman.  In 1992, he called Cindy the c word in public after she playfully commented on his thinning hair.

As far as Sarah Palin is concern, everyone has their own opinion about whether or not she's this supermom people keep calling her.  She was in a conference in Texas when her water broke in April.  She didn't want to have the baby in Texas, so she boarded a plane while in labor to fly to Alaska to deliver her baby.  This was very dangerous because this action could have put her baby at risk for cerebral palsy.  She went back to work only three days after she had her baby.  To me, this means that she may not value the Family Leave Act and showed very little regard to her own health after childbirth; doctors usually order women to stay at home 6-8 weeks.  This shows that she put her baby at risk AND ignored her baby after he was born.  For all we know, she may believe that if she can go to work only three days after having a baby, everyone else can too.

Obama is for cutting taxes for the working class people and making healthcare available to everyone.  That won't hurt families at all.  Michelle and Barack are a loving couple.  Michelle is one of Barack's main advisors and she only goes on the campaign trail only if she can bring their daughters along and no more than one night a week.

  11. I think she should be the head of her own ticket.

  12. "Real family?" could you be more specific.

When segregation was around a black and a white person couldn't have a "real family," it was thought of as immoral and wrong.

I guess your text book real family would be a father, a mother, little timmy and sarah jane.

Oh but what if the father has an accident or dies in war, or god forbid a mother. According to you I suppose, they wouldn't be a "real family" anymore. Because a "real family" has a father and a mother. So there kids can only grow up wrong.

It really pisses me off when people go off spouting about "real families" a family is a group of people who love and support each other and I think Obama is a true man who loves and supports his family.

I don't know Sarah Palin and I can''t say she doesn't love and support her family but you can't say Obama doesn't.

And if your eluding to the whole g*y marriage topic, as long as a kid has a home and a family who loves them, I don't give a **** who their parents are. There are too many kids out there made by straight people who just got left behind. Maybe you should consider that first.

  13. no, it won't change my vote.  anyone that advocates teaching creationism in public schools will not be receiving my vote.

  14. Obama has a very nice family too.

  15. Absolutely - A Change in America has occurred, not from Obama, but from a Angel in the distant North, and with her comes hope for a Better America and Protection for Families.

  16. what does being a 'real' mother mean?  What's a fake one?

No it won't change my vote.

  17. No, it won't change my vote.

  18. Obama  has every ordinary families close to his heart when he proposes tax cuts for the middle class, new jobs in green industries,  responsible development of all energy sources, a huge reduction in our debt to China, and an end to the illegal war that Bush has lied to get our country into.  My son volunteered for the army based on Bush's lies.  Now he is stuck there because our republican president all of us in. I hate Bush for deceiving us and lining his and his oil buddies pockets with tons of money.  What a cruel price to pay for their wealth

  19. I'm a woman, and I'm still voting for OBAMA.

If she can't have her priorities straight, imagine how she will be as a VP.
