  1. As Adam C. said, it isn't a solution, but it can help.  By keeping your vehicles maintained properly, then you can increase your mileage which as a result reduces your CO2 emittions.

  2. ok edski, (is that a Russian name?), no sarcasm, just the facts-there is no anthropogenic global warming.  Any 'climate change' occurring is a natural response to an increase or decrease in the sun's energy.  there are some other factors, however, they are minuscule in comparison to the main driving factor, energy from the sun.  So, that being the only scientific demonstrable facts, everything else is estimates, guesses and silliness.  So you and all the other greenie/treehugger/liberal/leftist clowns, including Adam C who does not know how to spell 'tires' (tyres?) should take solace in the fact that it doesn't matter what is done about 'the 'global warming problem', it will not matter.

  3. I get a kick out the AGW crowd,  they never take on personal responsibility they always feel the need to blame others.  President Bush is the excuse for their failures.  I find it sad that persoanl responsibility is no longer valid position for them and they look to blame others that is behavior you get from children then hopefully they grown up.

  4. Hey, Mickey, tyre is the british way of spelling it. Anyway weather global warming is real or not I want the air as pure as we can get it,and not like china's atmosphere.

  5. Not a solution, no, but part of the solution, yes, very much so.

This is along the lines of turning applicances off stand by, occasionally walking to the store instead of driving, recycling that old coke can, etc...

Every little bit helps (and usually helps the helper too - in this case saving fuel and tyre bills)!

    Edit to mikey

Hey, mikey, h**l-o-o-o!! The USA does not equal the world (this is a global forum about global warming you know). 'Tyres' is the correct spelling outside North America; perhaps if you wish to discuss global issues you should educate yourself a little about global habits?

"there is no anthropogenic global warming"- care to justify that with any sort of citation or educated source (e.g www.ipcc.ch)? No? Didn't think so - sceptics tend to spout na lot of BS without any proof and I'm tired of that cr*p.

The connection to variance in solar output has been well and truly refuted with numerous links in this forum to that effect.

Thanks to everyone who agrees that if you naren't part of the solution you're part of the problem!

  6. That article was hillarious.....a brilliant parody ! Thanks enjoyed the wit! *ROFL*

  7. Alternative fuels, clean coal, wind power, solar power hydroelectric power

    Blue Collar for McCain

  8. That was funny!

  9. Actually in a way yes.  This is along the lines of CO2 sequesteration where they take CO2 and inject it deep underground.  This is one of the many way that we are trying to deal with the surplus CO2
