Sarkis Agopyan topples Christoph Syrch in Men’s Singles qualifying round at Slovak Open 2012
Bulgaria’s talented shuttler Sarkis Agopyan showed his aggressive run on court and stretched his winning streak in Men’s Singles qualifying round by defeating Austria’s Christoph Syrch at the Victor Slovak Open 2012 on Thursday, September 6, in Slovakia.
The in-form Sarkis Agopyan, who was the second seeded player in the qualifying round draw of the championship, played to his maximum potential and remained successful in winning the contest in a staggering fashion.
The higher ranked Sarkis proved too strong for his opponent on court as he played with tremendous precision and managed to finish the battle in a crushing way without showing any mercy to his Austrian rival.
On the other hand, the lower ranked Christoph could not put up strong show as he remained unable to put up strong performance against his higher ranked Bulgarian opponent and went down with a humiliating margin on score board.
The in-form Sarkis started his run in the first set in a killing fashion as he played with remarkable precision and managed a stunning lead at the opening stage.

After the break, the impressive Sarkis remained positive and consistent in his power play on court and eventually managed to finish off the second game with a huge 21-8 score on the board.
The spirited Sarkis emerged as the winner in this Men’s Singles qualifying round contest in straight games with a stunning margin of 21-7 and 21-8.
