Sarsania tips Zenit to sign Dynamo Kyiv’s Yarmolenko and Dortmund’s Lewandowski – Football news
Konstantin Sarsania has urged Zenit St. Petersburg to shape up their squad during the upcoming summer transfer window and told them to consider signing Dynamo Kyiv’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robert-Lewandowski-c31255.
“I have already said that they need to buy a few strong players for example, Yarmolenko. He is a very good player and I think he will lift the overall team’s spirit with his presence and balance in the team. To be honest, it is a little hard to believe but it would be great if Zenit can sign Lewandowski,” the former Dynamo Moscow man was quoted as saying.
Yarmolenko can be singled out as Kyiv’s best player without the shadow of the doubt. There is little arguing to the statement that the Dinamiki would have struggled to finish third had the prolific winger not tormented and terrorized the opposing defences.
The 23-year-old made some vital contributions including 11 goals and five assists in 27 league appearances despite the Ukrainian Premier League club’s below par campaign this season.
Yarmolenko, meanwhile, managed to score two important goals in the UEFA Champions League including the one in the play-off round against Borussia Monchengladbach at Stadion im Borussia-park back in August.
Lewandowski, on the other hand, earned a lot of fame after scoring four goals in the Champions League semi-final’s first leg against Real Madrid at home.
Since then, the German and English media has started linking the Polish striker with a move to top European clubs including Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich respectively.
The former Legia Warsaw forward has scored 24 goals in 31 league appearances this season including five braces against FC Freiburg, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hannover-96-c39492, Mainz 05, Greuther Furth and Augsburg respectively.
If speculations are to be believed, Lewandowski is likely to follow in the footsteps of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Shinji-Kagawa-c33364 to Old Trafford this summer. Kagawa moved to the Manchester-based club for a reported 20 million Euro transfer from Dortmund last summer.
Speaking on Anatoliy Tymoschuk's transfer, the 44-year-old said that the former Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder can still play at a higher level despite his growing age.
