FC Fakel head coach laments the Dinamiki's latest Russian Premier League defeat against Spartak Moscow and commented on Aleksandr Kokorin’s performance
In the latest round of Russian Premier League action, Dynamo Moscow suffered a 3-1 defeat against Spartak Moscow at Arena Khimki on Sunday. The home team failed to stop the visitors from claiming all three points on the away turf.
Thought the hosts equalized during the second half after conceding the opening goal of the match early on in the match, they failed to pressurize the Moscow-based club and conceded twice more at home.
In the aftermath of the outcome, Fakel Voronezh manager Konstantin Sarsania has lamented the White-blues' humiliating league defeat against the Myaso. He warned the Musora against complacency and urged them to start winning their
remaining matches of the ongoing season.
“I don’t agree that it was a logical outcome of the meeting. Dynamo have played decent football but they were unlucky to concede an own goal. I think Sergei Silkin failed to implement the strategy.” The former FC Khimki head coach
was quoted as saying.
The fact that Dynamo have dropped excessive points disappoints Sarsania, who believes that the Dinamiki will turn the tables despite having a poor start to the third league round.
Dynamo are yet to win a league match during the third league round, having recorded back-to-back league defeats against Anzhi Makhachkala, CSKA Moscow and Zenit St. Petersburg in the opening games.
Speaking on the Louders striker Aleksandr Kokorin’s performance, Sarsania revealed that the 21-year-old has bags of talent but he is wasting himself upfront. He advised the former Lokomotiv Moscow player to play as a wide man rather
than a forward.
Sarsania revealed that Kokorin has not done anything special in front of the goal because he is not a good finisher of the ball. However, he told the fans that the promising striker will get better with time.
“I have seen him play on different positions and I think he is good when on the flanks. The former head coach rightly used him behind the striker or on wings.” Sarsania concluded.
