  1. I live in St. Paul, MN which has a population of 250,000, but it is part of a metroplex of 4,000,000 people.  I would love to see a team in Saskatoon, but St. Paul, MN has not had success in filling seats at it's USL Soccer team stadium. The MN Wild are an exception and play in St. Paul but they are a "Minnesota" team. I'm not sure if the province of Saskatchewan has enough people to fill seats in two different cities. In the US smaller cities get behind their minor league teams (baseball).

  2. Well, judging by the news article, it seems to be nothing more than a rumour, at this point.  I know that Saskatoon is a booming city, and might make a good home for the Riders, but I cannot picture two CFL teams in Saskatchewan.  I don't think it will happen.
