i took chem SAT in june and i got a 650. is this a really good grade/okay grade considering the fact that i was only in regular chemistry (no AP or honors)? should i take it again in the fall? ill prob review my book again. but i barely studied for the test anyways since i got my book in may and had one month to study.

im taking AP chem this year as a senior. is AP chem hard? is it going to be difficult because im also taking regular physics this year too.

  1. I would take the SAT II chem after completeing your AP Chem course. I got an 800 after completeing the AP Chem. However, before I had a similar score to that of yours.

Because you mentioned that you will be a senior next year, taking the chem SAT would be too late after the completion of AP Chem. What I would do is take it in the fall, and study hard this summer for it.

  2. A 650 is a pretty good score, especially considering you didn't study that much and you took it after only regular chemistry. But, i think you should take it over again in the fall. You should do considerably better after reviewing the information a lot. I took it in June after taking AP Chem and I got a 750 :D So I think you'll be fine.

As for AP chem being hard, it's really not. If you got a 650 without taking AP Chem, I think you'll be fine. I took AP Chem last year and got a 5 on the test :D Just study for tests, pay attention, and commit to the class, just like any other difficult class. You can do it!!!

Hope this helps and good luck :)
