Satellite Signal - TomTom Or Garmin?

Question

Am after a Sat Nav but I don't no which one to go for I need one with a good Satellite Signal picks up Satellite Signal pretty much stright away the thing is I heard Gamin Sat Nav's do take time so am thinking of going with a TomTom any advice ?

Also if I go for a TomTom which ones batter the 720 Or 910

& if its Garmin then 350 Or 660

I think Y!A 'top contributers' probably need to find girlfriends.  This guy never uses his satellite nav...he's never leaves his computer!...

...except when the star trek convention is in town

I am happy with my tom tom 910, it works even inside a restaurant, I like having the hard drive and being able to update the maps from tom toms site.
