Satellite TV Question.

Here is a list of the Satellite's that DirecTV uses:

DirecTV 1R at 72.5° West

Galaxy 3C at 95° West

Spaceway 2 at 99.2° West

DirecTV 4S/8 at 101° West

Spaceway 1/DirecTV 10 at 102.8° West

DirecTV 5 at 109.8° West

DirecTV 7S at 119° West

I am wondering which angle Dish is needed to get cable, like Nick and Discovery. also which angles are for HD channels.

I think you mean elevation which is 45 degrees here in Los Angeles. You can find the elevation by zip code in the setup menu of your Directv receiver.

ya time warner is good for that but some states dont have that company
