I have Sky and also still use a normal TV aerial for terrestrial TV. I would like link two other TV's (apart from the main one with the Sky box) so that they can also watch Sky but still have terrestrial TV too. What do I need and where could I get one? Thanks!

  1. i assume sky is a dish and a sattelite receiver ..so the satellite receiver is goin to have a single channel output ,the one u choose in channel menu and i think u cant share that signal with ur other tv...only the multiplexed(All channels combined) signal u receive from cable operaor can be split up into two..

Im in India and i use set top box to decode signal i receive from cable operator..and it is of good quality..but the dish is meant to be watched by single tv

  2. Your sky box will have 2 outputs. Use the other output and run a cable to a two way splitter/amplifier and distribute the outputs of this to your other two sets. Local electrical diy store.

If you require to change channels in one or both the other rooms you will need an inductive type and infrared link kit. Local t.v shop.

Alternatively enquire about sky multiroom from sky.

  3. Yellow pages under TV. repairs. They'll fix you up no problem.
