Satellite pro 4300 series

Question

Hi, I am in the position of having satellite 4300 with completely broken dc jack..can of course get new part but how easy/hard is it to refit?..take it the pins are soldered in....is it possible to bypass jack or do I have to brush up on my desolering/soldering skills?/ Thanks..Mike
