Satellite radio song selection? Repeats?

Why does it seem the same songs get played on a daily basis when there are a million songs that can be picked from? Is there a format like regular crappy radio?

Do you have Sirius or XM?  XM's channels by far have larger playlists.  Sirius's music channels try to imitate FM radio.
