1. Have you ever ditched work, or school for some of you, to do something hockey related?

2. What is your favorite hcokey documentary you've seen?

For those who've never seen "Ultimate Gretzky" I highly reccomend it.

3. Have you ever seen your favorite team play on the road? If so, how was your experience? Was it awkward at any times? Was anyone mean or rude that you were a fan of the opposing team?

4. Who is the nerdiest hockey player in the NHL?

5. Did your team ever play a Stanley Cup Game Clinching game that you failed to go to? If so, why wern't you there!!? If the opportunity comes around, I am willing to pay an arm and a leg to see them (up to a $3,000 ticket)

6. Would you like it if after the 5 minute overtime, that they would have 4 on 3 powerplays. Each team takes a 2 minute 4 on 3 powerplay. If you succeed and the other team doesn't then you win the game? If they both do or don't then they do it again.

7. If no to #6, what should the overtime format be?

  1. 1. Yes once, a friend and I ditched school to go play a pickup game. It was well worth it, we had a substitute that day that never even realized we showed up with 15 minutes left in class.

    2. I'll have to watch that one, but I think the best I have ever watched was "Soul on Ice" it wasn't about a particular hockey player but it was about the creation of hockey in Canada by a few of ***** players.

    3. No sadly I have not.

    4. Sean Avery, have you seen his glasses??

    5. No never happened while I have been alive.

    6. Actually that does sound really cool, that would make the game a lot more interesting, but I must say, I really do enjoy watching shootouts and I wish they would occur more often.

    7. Shootouts if not that.

  2. 1. too many times to list

    2.  yes, the Miracle on Ice was the best I have seen

    3.  I saw the Rangers play in Tampa about 6 years ago, the Rangers won 7-5, great game , even better seats, it was an expierence...sunny Florida weather, like 85 degrees, out by the Bay, outdoor bars, and the best was....more Ranger fans than Lightning fans

    4. I have no clue..prob Jason Smith

    5.  The Rangers clinched in '94, I didnt have enough money for a ticket (going for $5,000 for nosebleeds), but I did go to Manhattan to party at 33rd and 7th, got totally hammered got home at 6am next morning.

    6.  Keep the OT format the way it is, just extend the period to 10 minutes

  3. 1.  Yes- but I get my shift covered

    2.  I enjoy any type of documentary- my favorite was Beyond the Glory Chris Chelios of course!

    3. No- I would love to though- and the venue of choice would be in Chicago.

    4. LOL  Ihave no idea- maybe The Professor for his love of wine!

    5. Yes- all of them.  I dont have that kind of cash, must be nice though- to have an extra $3000 to go to a game!  Take me with you!!!!!!!!! lol

  5. 1) I ditched my cousins wedding to watch Rd 1 Game 1 of SC playoffs.

    2) Spotlight Steve Yzerman lol

    3) No i wish, but i have cousins that live in Montreal, and my aunt had told me if Montreal makes it to the finals she was going to fly me up there to watch them play in their arena, so i was kinda rootin for them :(

    4) Evgeni Malkin idk he seems like a nerd

    5) Yeah Hello... Game 5 SCF in Detroit...I really was close to going but i guess the guy that was going to give my dad tickets ended up going himself...and i would pay that much too if i had the money

    6. just stick it with a shootout, or go back to old school, 5 min with ties

  7. 1. No. I don't get out to many big hockey events though, where I live (or lived, I'll be somewhere else for college)

    2. Haven't seen any.

    3. No. I probably will this upcoming season- Being in upstate new york, I'll try and see the Canes play in Montreal or Ottawa (actually not far at all)

    4. No clue.

    5. Yes. I am not made of money. Standing room tickets were over 200 dollars, and our family does not have that much disposable income. We went to Game 2 that year, that was enough.

6 and 7. h**l no. However, 4 on 4 tor ten minutes, then 3 on 3 for 5, 2 on 2 for 5 and 1 on one until it's over would be good if we really have to mess with stuff.

  8. 1) A few too many times lol

    2) From an old-school perspective, NET WORTH, which talks about the beginnings of the NHLPA but yes, Ultimate Gretzky is pretty awesome.

    3) I have seen the Canadiens play the Sharks out in California several times. It was awkward and many un-knowledgable Sharks fans gave me a hard time about it.

    4) In recent history, "The Professor", who you know as Igor Larionov, among current ones, Chris Osgood.

    5) Yes most recently in 1993, but I was still in high school and barely had enough $ to pay for train rides to and from the rink.

    6) No because wins should be earned. Increase the regular season overtime to 10 minutes.

  9. 1.) Of course.  My brother helped devise a strategy to get me out of school so I wouldn't get caught. (he was home from college at the time)  I would pretend to be sick, and my responsible college brother would come pick me up - and go to a Devils practice!  Hehe.  ALL the Devils were there are I got pictures with EVERYONE and got a lot of stuff signed! :)

2.) The Mario Lemieux one they had on Versus was pretty good.

3.) Nope.  Almost saw a game at MSG, but couldn't.

4.) Larionov was called The Professor, but he doesn't look nerdy.  He looks like an evil genius.  I think Parros went to Princeton?  But he doesn't look nerdy either.  Not sure.  Some might be smart but not nerdy.  Sean Avery with his glasses looks nerdy but he's pretty dumb.  lol.  Maybe Selanne I think he taught first graders in Finland at one point.

5.) YES!  But it was in 1988 and I wasn't born.  That was when the Devils went to the playoffs for the first time.  Then in 2006 the Devils clinched the Atlantic with their winning streak, came back from 0-3...But that was in Montreal.

6.) Not really.  I don't like that idea.  I'd prefer shootouts.

    7.) Just shootouts or ties.

  10. 1. I ditched class to go to Casino Night in 2003.

4)Probably Teemu. He was a teacher. So most likely very bookish

5)No the has not happened to my team. The Cats were swept in their only cup appearance would find a way to afford tickets if that happens they go to the cup round again

6)No don't care for that idea
