  1. yes it's always busy at weekends

as this weekend is August Bank Holiday it could be pretty packed, maybe Saturday 30th might be better, but as most schools don't go back until the following week, it might be even better to leave it till Saturday 6th September

  2. Well I live in London. It is very Busy at weekends. Dont let annoying people gt in your way though, have fun and enjoy London!

  3. You're right it's always busy, but you should be fine at the weekend.

You should definitely do a cruise. Go from the pier on Victoria Embankment (near the houses of Parliament) - there's various options, if you have all day I would go up to Greenwich and wander around up there, but if you want to pack lots of things in just take an hour up the river and back.

British Museum is great, but it's so big you won't be able to do that plus the other things you want to do. I'd pick one museum, a boat trip, and some wandering around.

One final option: go on the London Eye. It's best at sunset, and can be booked in advance on the website.

  4. London is always crazy busy. Still go, 'cause any day you go is going to be at least a little bit hectic, but that shouldn't stop you doing all those things.

  5. I live in London also, yes it does get very busy at weekends but if you stay close and don't stop in the middle of the pavement or road should be okay. If you need to stop to look at a map etc. Walk to the edge of the pavement in a corner first otherwise you could get seriously knocked around. People in Central London aren't very polite so don't take that personally if you are in their way it's most likely they will not say 'Excuse me' rather just push you out the way. Sorry I don't know how much the cruise is. London is great once you know it, so don't let busy-ness put you off! Museums won't be as busy as the street though, if you want to go somewhere like the wax works or planetarium withouth gtting tickets before be ready for a long wait or don't go at all. Next time you go to London be sure to see a musical or play they are really good especially Billy Elliot and Wicked.

Have a  good time! And be prepared to stand on tubes they can get very crowded before 1 and after 4.

    Good Luck
