Saturn Ion 2006 driver speaker won't work.?

Question

It's real odd but I have no clue what could be wrong. First thought is that the speaker is blown. Though if it was, it'd make some sound at least, which it doesn't. Second thought is the switch (when you open the door the speaker stops working, when you close the door, it goes back on) The switch controls the lights in the car as well so that's the same as the speaker I assume. I checked that and the lights work fine. I have no clue what this could be, all the other speakers work fine just not the driver's side one.

Does anyone know what this could be? I'm starting to think it's a fuse but that wouldn't make any sense or possibly the radio itself.

it could be loose wiring

did you get a new deck or anything

they could've left the wire loose

or just loose from time

take it to get it check

its normally free or $20

depends on where you go

but then they'll tell you whats wrong

Well if you open the door and the speaker does not work and then you close the door and the speaker starts working,it sounds like a short in the wiring between the door and door jam.
