I read that from a newsletter on terry nazon's website. How should we expect these tough times to be? She says its holding on to the past which comes from the sign of Leo...hmmm...my dob is Nov-09-1984 born at 245 am. Lat--13° 30' 0N and Longitude: 88° 52' 0W. Will it affect me? In what way?

  2. Yes, the eclipse tomorrow is more significant to those of us born right around now, because the sun will be eclipsed in the exact spot (or relatively close) to where it was when we were born. (in other words, during a "solar return").

    However I will let you in on a good secret for predictions... ;-) - this eclipse is being "caused" by the southern lunar node (Ketu)... therefore only those who are sensitive to Ketu's impacts will be strongly affected by the eclipse directly. Unfortunately Western Astrology has no way that I know of to judge this, but in Vedic Astrology, anyone born around this time who is in a Ketu period or sub period will be adversely impacted in a strong way. Heart attacks, loss of health, loss of father, loss of vitality, etc.

    I'll give you a practical example... on July 28th the USA went into a Ketu subperiod. As the Sun approaches Ketu we got an earthquake (a classical ketu eclipse effect) here in Los Angeles. It lasted a fairly long time and was fairly close to the surface.

    There are also particularly shady deals going on regarding oil and gasoline prices in america. Ketu is a shady shadow planet associated with oil.

    Japan, also, is a country constantly associated with Ketu... a few days ago souther japan experienced a flood. Another textbook affect of a ketu eclipse.

    Eclipses cause political upheaval in general. The eclipse is focused on Beijing... site of the olympics. Personally I can't recall a more hated and controversial olympic games, at least not in a while. I'm not sure when it's exactly going on, or even if it already did (debilitated mars - i hate sports) but I glad I'm not there.

    ~~~ EDIT ~~~
    Please note that on the day of the eclipse there were actually 4 or 5 earthquakes in the path of the eclipse that were greater than 5.0 magnitude.
