Sauder 4-Drawer Chest Assembly Help

Question

I'm putting together a Sauder 4-drawer chest. It has an interlock track that I need to assemble, and there just isn't enough info on how to do it...it's very confusing. I've put together a couple of other pieces this weekend, so I'm not a complete nerd about assembling this type of furniture. It's just that the instructions are not detailed enough about this particular item. Has anyone put one of these together before? It involved cutting out and using a 5-1/4" spacer. In their diagram the spacer is shorter than the actual one they provide.

Are you sure you have the right space that goes there?  That you didn't use it in the wrong place?  Good Luck.
