  1. My opinion is that a person would have to be insane to suggest such a thing.

America is not peopled with barbarians.

The reactionary nature of how we deal with drug offenses in this country is completely out of proportion, anyway. As far as I'm concerned, drug use should be completely legal if the person is of sound mind and is of age.

I'm so sick and tired of the government being in every facet of a person's life.

Our prisons are overcrowded from arrested pot smokers, for God's sake. Are you aware that VIOLENT offenders are released before their time because the jails are filled with DRUG offenses?

    That's screwed up.

  2. Why?  I'd prefer this punishment be reserved for America's politicians(magicians!) for their FIRST public bilking offence.

  3. No.  I certainly don't approve of drug dealing.  I'm quite anti drugs, they fuel crime and mess up lives, but prison is the best solution, not a perfect one, simply the best solution.  When the ruling government starts behaving like savage barbarians like the Saudis, we become no better than the drug dealers.

  4. After living in Saudi Arabia for 2 years I can tell you their lack of crime is due to their harsh laws.  I really think we could learn one thing and that is we give our murderers too many rights.  When somebody there kills someone, they are beheaded in front of the Masque on the third Friday of the month (that's how it was when I was there).  We give our muderers about 20 years on death row for their lawyer to say they were "TEMPORARILY INSANE" then they get off.  I don't remember the last time a murderer gave their victim the right to appeal for their life.  Now the Saudis also have the Muttawa or religious police who can lock you up and ask for execution based on breaking the muslim religious laws, I don't think we need that either.

  5. Sounds good to me.
