Sami Al-Jaber, has been appointed as an interim manager of the club.
Caledron made a positive start to his tenure but completely lost the plot in the middle. He wasn’t able to cope up with the expectation of the officials and the fans and the Argentine’s future started looking bleak at the club. Al-Zaeem were also dumped

the King’s Cup of Champions. Al-Hilal only managed a 1-1 draw that forced them out of the competition and also ended Argentine’s coaching tenure.
The 51-year-old guided his team to the 2011 Saudi Premier League without losing any game and also enabled them to clinch the Crown Prince Cup during the same year. Such performances were perhaps enough to keep the manager at King Fahd Stadium but recent
exits from the AFC Champions League and King’s Cup of Champions prompted the club chairman, Abdulrahman bin Musa’ad, to release him of his responsibilities.
Sami Al-Jaber got the nod as an interim manager soon after the departure of the former Argentine international. The Saudi veteran managed 305 league appearances for Al-Hilal during his twenty-year stay and had 143 goals under his belt. Since making his debut
in 1992 for Saudi Arabia, the 38-year-old made 163 international appearances during his 14-year career, netting in 43 goals during the process.
