The match commenced on day one with Saurashtra winning the toss and choosing to bat first. However, MP launched a concentrated attack, which saw all 6 bowlers claiming at least one wicket each, while Ishwar Pandey (20-5-43-3), Ankit Sharma (24-8-61-2), and

However, Saurashtra gained a significant upper-hand during MP’s first turn at bat, as Jaydev Unadkat (12-6-20-3), http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Vishal-Joshi-c2767 (5-2-17-3), and Dharmendrasinh Jadeja (19.2-6-51-3) succeeded in bowling the opposition out for a meagre first innings total of

http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Ankit-Sharma-c1053 (10*) failed to capitalise on their starts, and gave their wickets away without putting in too much effort.
Saurashtra then proceeded to cement their dominant stance during their second innings, courtesy a stellar performance from Cheteshwar Pujara, who remained not out on 203. Aarpit Vasavada (55) and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Rahul-c83321 Dave (25*) chipped in with small contributions, and
despite the efforts of MP’s Ishwar Pandey (15-7-51-3), the team managed to reach a massive 303 for 4 after which they declared, setting their opponents a daunting 411-run chase.
Dharmendrasinh Jadeja (26.4-8-51-6) and Kamlesh Makvana (14-3-43-3) then proceeded to seal the deal for http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Jalaj-Saxena-c1632 (75) was the only one who managed a somewhat competitive performance, while the rest gave
their wickets away cheaply. MP were eventually cut off well out of range of the target, and Saurashtra went on to claim a comprehensive 227-run victory.
