Saurav and the KKR were pathetic against MI. Unfairly they hoped Shoaib would work the oracle. Comment?

Last night my heart went out to SRK and Shoaib. Come on KKR pull yourself together and do it for SRK and for the unbridled support you receive at Eden Garden.

KKR is always pathetic. They clicked in patches. Unlike RR and MI who are improving in leaps and bounds. Sourav should hand over captaincy to a young,fit and quality player like David Hussy or Salman Butt.Shoaib is a erratic player.

The pitch in Wankhade Stadium is unfit for T-20 cricket.  Its a bowler's paradise and hence not fit for T-20.  It had bounce like AUS or SA grounds.  Nobody is talking about the pitch.  Its a pity.

Yes, agreed. Sourav and his team lost miserably against the Mumbai Inidans. I don't mind loosing but it hurts me most when I see my team surrendering so meekly without giving a good enough fight. The reason why KKR looked so pathetic yesterday is that they completely neglected the shortcomings they had in their batting lineup. Our batting against Delhi Daredevils too had been poor. We won just because Shoiab performed a miracle with the ball. But in his overconfidence, Sourav dada did nothing to improve the standard of batting, and forgot that everyday, Shoaib can't be expected to win the match for them, after having out up a very low target for the opposition.

Inconsistency has been the main trouble of KKR. Sourav fires only when he is cricticized. But as soon as he gets success, and his team starts winning, he becomes too complacent, and lets loose on everything. Yesterday, he had to pay dearly for this atitude. A proper strategy and game plan was needed to be chalked out beforehand, but our captain didn't bother at all. Now, we can only hope that they (especially Sourav) learn from their mistakes. Akhtar has played with full committment. Nothing to say against him.

It was a game of extremes.  MI played too well and KKR did too bad.  No wonder MI did in less then half as much overs what KKR did in almost 15 overs.  Shoaib isnt a magician to win KKR's matches for them everytime. Yesterday, for one Shoaib, the MIs had 3 better bowling performers. A good game for the MI supporters and an equally sorry one for the KKR fans.
