Sausage!! What is your favorite sausages??

I really LOVE English Breakfast.

It contains Fried egg (or scramble?), baked beans, baked tomatoes (mushroom), bacon, and SAUSAGE!!

Please tell me your favorite sausages which I can get in England. There are some of supermarket (sainds~ wait~ )

  1. Any sausages that are homemade by the butchers themseves are the best.

    They don't blow up in the pan and you can taste them, not like the mass produced budget kinds.

    Old English as a flavour is my favourite.


  2. Tofurky Italian style sausage is my favorite. It's awesome in pasta dishes. There's even sausage hope for us vegetarians. They are pretty high in fat though, so I consider them a special treat.

  3. Cajun boudin stuffed with crawfish. Mmm. Out of SW Louisiana.

  5. What my mom made and seasoned when my dad & brothers butchered 'hogs'!!!  It would be great to have that happen now!!!

  6. I was born in California, but the best sausage I've ever had in my life is called "Down Home Sausage". I first had them in NW Louisiana (Shreveport). You can grill, boil, and fry them. They are heavenly!!! I dont know where you are from but it's worth the trip. The only reason I want to go see my mom is to get my hands on those sausage!...LOL

    I also love Italian sausage. They are sold nearly everywhere.

    Don't forget to eat lots of garlic and drink vinegar (one table spoon per 4 ounce glass) every now and then, for the blood pressure, while you're on your hunt for the ULTIMATE SAUSAGE...LMAO

  7. Old  English pork is the one that out sells all the other different types put

    together, find a good butcher that sells free range pork and buy a couple just to try them , once you have them  you will never want to eat the supermarket generics again .

  8. In the UK when I visit I like the Italian style, Cumberland, Lancashire, love Blood and Mealy Puddings, your bangers have more taste/flavour than the ones here, chipolota's and fried Haggis slices.

    When I visit my friends in Liverpool, I always have 1 good full english breaky at a canteen/local restaurant just for the fat and flavour, love the way they make it, but only once a trip, it is a long way back to Canada after one of those on the plane

  9. Vienna Sausage...I live in the Philippines so I don't know if there's a Vienna sausage in England...

  10. For breakfast I love that Jimmy Dean sausage with sage that you make into patties....
