I'm looking at getting a savage 93GL 22Mag in left handed can anyone tell me what there like as a rifle in terms of accuracy power etc and what is a good load for it and whats a good scope for it. Also can you take the accu trigger of it or is it permint. Is it a good feature or a pain in the ***.

  1. It's a decent rifle. Its farely accurate. I've shot more powerful guns. Overall it's a decent rifle and I would get a 4 - 12 x 42mm scope.

  2. for the price the Savage line is a good value

left handed actions are a bit hard to find across the board.

Accutrigger is the bomb on a varmit-target rifle and Savage builds a good one.

CZ offers a good bolt rifle... and I think Ruger stocks a LH 77 in .22 mag... I have a long rifle Ruger and it's a one hole shooter at 50 yards

22 mag?... kinda spendy and with .17 and good old .22 LR out there I never had the need for one. Maybe you have a bunch of fat 'chucks and some good 100 yard pastures to hunt?

Have fun with whatever you get.

  3. thats a good gun, i cant tell you much more than that. what i can tell you is to get a winchester lever action 22 mag. its a sweet little gun
