Save The Bees targeting victory in Irishbigracetrends.com Handicap
Save The Bees has a chance to bring up the second victory of his career, by triumphing in the Irishbigracetrends.com Handicap at Beverley in England on Tuesday, July 17, 2012. £4,205 is the amount set for the winner of the class-4 event.
The going will be good in the 1 mile 100 yard race, which is scheduled to start at 15:30 GMT, and 10 fine runners will be battling out for glory. Furthermore, the going is good and will remain the same, if no more showers come down at Beverley.
It will be interesting to see whether which runner comes out on top today, as some of them are equally matched and will make the competition interesting. However, the best chances of winning are with Save The Bees, who does not have a very good winning percentage,
but certainly possesses the ability to outperform his rivals at this level.
The four-year-old gelding has been given a starting price of 5 to 1 by the bookmakers, as they too expect him to be amongst the front runners today. The punters should also not doubt his abilities and place bets on him without any hesitation.
The Declan Carroll’s trainee first appeared into competitive racing back in 2010. He only took part in a couple of events that year, but failed to deliver a decent result in any of them. However, things got better for him afterwards, as his trainer worked
extremely hard on his form and fitness in the stables.
Royal Applause’s son managed to win his first race in June 2011 at Hamilton. He was priced 14 to 1 back then and was not expected to challenge the front runners. Despite that, he put up a great effort and took the top spot after a thrilling fight against
Phair Winter and Sangar.
After such an impressive run, the young gelding was expected to win more races in his career. However, he was unable to do so and is still in search of a second victory. His performances in the 2012 season have been decent, which means his confidence level
will be high.
Save The Bees will pair up with Daniel Tudhope, who is a confident rider and will aim for the top at Beverley today.
