Save me from h**l ,,,,,,,,help me i lose my DATA "C" in my brothers laptop?

i was trying to repair my brothers laptop then i think i did something wrong when i tried to open data C in the laptop there is big "x" sign in red when i click on it nothing happened what can i do help me he have lots of documents he is going to kill me ,

I would try to clone the drive with acronis.  If you get a good clone on an external HD then you can just wipe the current drive reinstall the OS and then reload all of the cloned data.

If you've really slagged his HD there isnt much hope to get it back short of paying for data recovery. (which costs ALOT) Unless you know someone able to bring it back from the neitherworld.  You can recover almsot any data, deleted or not, but your just going to have to find people able to.  Because that WAY further into system recovery than i have ever gone and i couldnt tell you where to even begin to find it at
