  1. I am impressed, you are a very smart girl! First you'd better get advice from the appropriate person like your high school counselor or advisor. If they are unreliable, you can go ask the college advisor!!

  2. first get a job.  you cant save money for college earning money from mowing lawns or allowances.  go to the bank open up a savings account.  this will allow you to deposit and save money you earn.  you can also get a checking account to enable you to use money easier.

CD accounts are also good for longer periods of time.

If your parents dont already, you should get a mutual fund so the money you earn can grow.

just ask a person at the bank and they should give you tons of information on saving money!!

  3. Saving money is always good.  I opened up a bank account around the age of 16.  It was a savings account.  If you work, try to put half your paycheck in the savings account.

  4. http://www.savingforcollege.com/

a good site and you can do it by state

  5. Get a job, open a high-interest bank account.

Or you can do what i did and do really well in high school and get a full scholarship.

  6. well i tryed getting a job but parents dont want me to go to college so all the money i was supposed to save went to gas and car insurance..if they'd let me save that 80 on car insuracne i probably would have a little over 800 saved..um another way could be to write essays for scholarships or get into a vollenteer program   i think coca cola has scholarships for ppl with vollenteer work

  7. open a saving acccount and start savng and start lookin  for a job to save 4 college

  8. well get a job or maybe u can try to get a scholarship

  9. get a job that pays good money! it's summertime so you could make a lot of money. you could even start a business using ebay. sell anything you don't want. when you have nothing to sell only buy a little bit of stuff and sell it for more than you bought it. it's easy and fun!

  10. If you were a little younger I would recommend  a 529 plan, however, at this point it would be best to place it in a savings account that offers a decent interest rate such as HSBC.

  11. Great way to save up some money is get summer job or find jobs during winter time.  Don't spend your money on stuff that's unnecessary.  Um.. grants and loans maybe available in your area for college.  If you have enough money, you can open savings account, that's a start.
