Saving grace series: who is singing this song?

Question

In the episode titled: "Are you an Indian Princess" - there is a beautiful song being sung. I caught some of the lyrics but when I type them in, nothing comes up. If any fans out there know the song or lyrics - please respond! it sounds like nina simone - but i don't know

Perhaps re-recorded by the band (who sounds like Nina) or someone else sang it.  Good luck.  Sure worked in the show, though, didn't it?
