Saving money help?

im 15 and trying to save up for a new ipod ($450).

i get 200 dollars per month from my parents for everything i do and buy. i can never seem to be able to save money when i plan to but i really want the ipod and i just want to know if anyone has any ways that could help a kid like me save / motivate me to save? pleaseeeee help! and please dont say just save half of it every month or just dont spend it coz for me its not that simple because i cant just stop my whole social life!

Hmm... I dunno. Maybe you can ask your parents to only pay you $180 or something to you each month, and give you the rest of the money when it adds up to $450... Or maybe you're birthday's coming up and you can ask for Apple gift cards which you can only use to buy Apple products, nothing else.
