Im working my first job, getting paid about $100 weekly. I have a 529 account that saves for college, and i also have my general savings account in which i put away 10% of every dollar i make.

Now, i also have a third account which is my checking account, i put the remainder of my money in that account (usually around $20) that i spend freely.

My questions for you:

Is it good for me to be saving for two different causes?

How much should i put into each account? (percentage wise)
