"I knew I was coming to a club where the coach always gives priority to good football, and to a city where the people are driven by their passion for football," he told Ole, the newspaper.
"To be honest, it has exceeded all my expectations,” he added.
The 30-year-old striker also spoke about the nature and personality of his coach.
"He [Pellegrini] is a very quiet coach but has a lot of personality. He imposes his respect, values and prioritizes a good style,” he described.
"He has kept players highly motivated despite not knowing what would happen to the club."

"I wish to be sincere and don't want to mislead anyone, but I feel we are better than the rest,” he concluded.
