The former Benfica striker believes that their last 16 clash of the UEFA Champions League will be a tough one and Malaga will have to work hard to ensure progression.

The striker stated that he knows the Portuguese outfit from his time at Benfica and claimed that they are a top side.

Saviola also stated that the departures of the top players have left a void in the Portuguese side’s squad but they still have enough quality amongst their ranks.
The striker warned his teammates to perform at the very highest level if they want to seal progression to the quarter finals of the elite European competition.
"Porto will be a complicated and tough opponent. I played against them during my time at Benfica and I know how good they are,” the Argentine was quoted as saying by AS.
"On an individual level they have had some fantastic players in recent history like [Radamel] Falcao and Lucho Gonzalez. But now there are other players that are maintaining that quality and that level of play."
Malaga qualified as group leaders of their start of the Champions league campaign and hence have managed to avoid drawing other big guns of Europe.
