Sawpit Sensation sets the Swindon race track ablaze in the Ladbrokes Mobile Arc Trials Stakes
Sawpit Sensation secured first place in the Ladbrokes Mobile Arc Trial Stakes, held at Swindon on February 8, 2012. The track was 480m in length, as Sawpit Sensation swiftly breezed through it, defeating 5 other contenders.
Sawpit Sensation was an early favourite among the spectators and the punters. He successfully finished the race in 28.65 seconds winning the prize money of £150.

His trainer, D. Hunt was pleased by his performance, as his hound has improved immensely since 2011.
Sawpit Sensation defeated greyhound racing legend, Hugo You Go, by zooming past him in the third bend, racing three lengths ahead.

Hugo You Go finished the race in 28.89 seconds, narrowly missing the first position.

Other contenders were Daughter of Peg, Granard Bound, Ding Hero and Swan Storm. 

They were no match for Sawpit in light of his impressive speed and agility.
Sawpit Sensation’s form and performance is improving in every other race. He was defeated at Oxford, Belle Vue and Perry Barr, but has gained momentum since then.

His first victory was at Perry Barr on November 28, 2011. He finished the race in an impressive manner by defeating tough competitor, Pieball Nolan.
After a slow career start, Sawpit Sensation has gathered pace, and his victories have continued piling up. He has won 3 out of 4 races in 2012. 

At Sheffield, he defeated, Droopys Beano, on a 500 meter track. He also successfully came in first place at Nottingham and Perry Barr where he raced against Quivers Shimmers and Dacent Acorn. 

His only defeat this year was against Farloe Kyle at the Owlerton Bookmakers Puppy 500 at Sheffield.
Sawpit’s performances in 2012 have shown great promise. He started the year with a massive victory, and things are looking good for him.

His outstanding performances have given him a celebrity status, and he is gaining popularity among the punters as well.
At Swindon, Sawpit Sensation’s performance was commendable. His outstanding performance was a result of his meticulous training and hard work. 

If the ‘sensation’ of Sawpit continues, he will overhaul the leading greyhounds in no time.
Other races in the evening created excitement as well. 
Swift Tilly secured first position in a race of 480m, a Grade OR race. He finished the race in 28.88 seconds.

He defeated Glenside Pearl, who was a favourite among the spectators. Glenside Pearl had the odds of 6 to 4.

The victory of Swift Tally was not expected as his odds of winning were 6 to 1, but his performance was admired nonetheless.
In another race, Longwood Days defeated, Farloe Orion, for the first time since August, 2011. 

Farloe Orion shared his second place victory with Mays Gold.
None of these hounds were labelled the top contenders as the favourite, Mercurial Star, with winning odds, 7 to 4, finished 4th.
