Saxo VTR Headgasket? Important.

About 6 months ago I had the headgasket re-done on my Saxo VTR, yesterday it appears it has gone again? So my car does 90.000miles on one headgasket, yet only 4000miles on the other? Why has this happened did the garage do a bad job?

  1. They didn`t skim the head and it`s worn the gasket.

    Did the other gasket blow before or did you have it changed as part of a service?.

    Either way you need to take it back to them to see what they say.


  2. They may have used a cheaper head gasket. Did they have the head checked for warping? Has it run low on water and overheated?
