Saxon Math Difference?

What's the difference between Saxon Math Algebra 2 second edition and Saxon Math Algebra 2 third edition?

im home schooled and i have used saxon math since 1st grade.  they are not the same the second edition is outdated and the third edition is the updated version. i had the second edition this last year and the first day we were going over our lessons and the teacher realized i was confused it was because they were using the third edition and the lessons were different so my teacher told me that was outdated and that i needed to get the updated third edition.

the difference is the edition.  Sometimes you can "get away" with using the editions in place of each other.  Especially in college.  It is always best to ask the teacher if it is ok to substitute.

You may not be able to if the teacher uses the book a lot.  If they do not, then you may be able to because the information should be roughly the same.
