And then they tell you about freight, delivery, destination etc etc. By how much would all this c**p adjust the price? Any ballpark figure would help. Thanks!

  1. $600  thats what it showed on my 08 canyon regular cab    and same price on my gf 04 grandam that she bought in 04     i live in arkansas

  2. Start by telling us the make, origin and destination.

  3. Once you negociate the price of the car you always have to add these things:

    Sales Tax

    Title $15.00

License $8.00- based on a plate transfer.  A new plate will depend on the weight fee of the vehicle brand new and your birthdate.

Doc Fee $204- typically costs.  All dealerships charge this.

    Michigan breakdown:

    $20,000

    $204 Doc Fee

    Sales Tax 6% $1,200

    Title $15

    Plate $8

    Total out the door $21,427

  4. Ok the MSRP or the dealer cost of a car or truck is at the bottom right of the sticker or the invoice. If you had a dealer go out and pick a car up from another store at 4 dollar fuel cost then that might be another thing. I always charged it to the sale as a part of the cost of doing business. Some of this depend s on which car you are looking at.A Mini Cooper can carry a charge for fresh air and get away with it, some I am sorry to say are just old business tactics that reflect greed rather than customer retention.
